ANDREW S. CURRAN came to Wesleyan in 1998, after teaching at Union College for two years. He was tenured in 2004, promoted to full professor in 2010, and was dean of the Arts and Humanities from 2011-2015. At Wesleyan, he teaches classes related to the French eighteenth century: from “Exoticism” to “Diderot” to “The Epistolary Novel."
